MY THOUGHTS
If, like me, you like British humor, you would love this book. If you just love a good chick lit that will make you laugh, you’ll like this book. If you love crazy characters, convoluted plots and surprises, you will also like this book. I enjoyed reading this book even though I don’t usually read a lot of contemporary romance novels. I usually lean more towards historical romances.

This one, however, kept me interested from the get go. How can you resist not wanting to find out what happens next when your main character meets a man during her bachelorette party night out with the girls that causes her to cancel her wedding? Besides leaving her fiancee’ on the lurch, she leaves her family and friends to move to the city to find this mysterious stranger. It is there that she meets up with a motley crew of hilarious characters that will make you want to keep reading. Stories within stories unfold in this funny novel. You’ll be smiling and even laughing outloud at the antics and hilarity the characters get into, but not in the slapstick jokes about best male enhancement products kind of way. The humor is very subtle sometimes, even a bit sarcastic but it is what makes it all the more funny. I look forward to reading the other books from this author.
