Summary
Healer and high priestess of her people, Lady Cael is fated to life without a mate. But a mysterious explorer named Lucan Rourke doesn’t know her secrets, and his touch makes her crave a future that her extraordinary birthright has forbidden her. . .
Lucan has just one mission on Pendragon: to find the mythical Holy Grail, Earth’s only hope for survival. His powerful attraction to Cael is a distraction he can’t afford, unless he convinces her to join forces with him. Yet working so closely together only heightens their passion . . . even when the terrifying truth of Cael’s heritage threatens to shatter Lucan’s every belief-and the galaxy itself.

My Thoughts
Can you say, “The best of both worlds?” If you love fantasy, science fiction and historical romance, then here it is all rolled up into one. One of my favorite genres and greatest fascination are the Pendragon stories; stories about King Arthur, the Knights, Guenevere and Camelot. At the same time stories of dragons and magic and other worlds fascinate me. And my secret obsession is erotic romance novels. Now combine all these things in a pot, stir, and you’ve got…
LUCAN!
And I am in heaven.
I devoured this story almost in one sitting. I read it until I couldn’t keep my eyes open anymore and then I dreamed about it. What can I say, the love scenes in this book are steamy hot but it’s not a trashy romance novel. It gives a good story line to follow with all the supporting details that keep you engaged. I enjoyed reading this book and the characters are very likeable. All of them.
Now if you’d like to read this book, look no further. You can win a copy right here.

I like steamy love scenes if they are done right…the problem is that too many writers are simply writing porn & I feel this does not fit in with a good romance. Sometimes the sex is better left to the imagination

I have to agree there’s a fine line between a love scene and porn. Everyone has they’re own line when reading a scene, some writers are more suggestive and some more graphic. I’m somewhere in between.

I love a steamy love scene in romance novels, but I agree that some things are better left to the imagination and don’t like when authors go too into details.

I think steamy love scenes written by women are great. Male writers just make it bumping and grinding.

They make a novel more exciting but I prefer the old fashioned steamy kind, nothing too weird!

I don’t read Romance novels, but I do enjoy a good love scene. The steamier and more descriptive the better! I love it too when it is spontaneous!

OK with steamy scenes if they enhance the story and it’s not too over the edge and extreme!
