One of the biggest employer in our area just laid off over 300 people yesterday. Everyone is on pins and needles wondering when their turn is up and the ones who have lost their jobs alreaday are scrambling to find a new position or train for another one.
St. Joseph’s University Professional (SJU Pro) is offering online certificates to professionals who are trying to re-educate and improve their skills. For instance, they have a project management curriculum that prepares professionals to lead teams by applying project management principles. Graduates of the course are awarded a CAPM certificate (Certified Associate Project Manager Certificate) which “reflects their knowledge, education, and experience in the field of project management.”
Project management is not the only curriculum offered at SJU Pro. They also have courses on Crisis management and Purchasing management; skills that are imperative for most professionals to get ahead in their careers no matter what industry they are in.
