Do you believe in soul mates? I do and I love hearing stories about how people find theirs. Mine found me, quite by accident, but he did and I’m glad. We actually met by chance, through friends. The old fashioned way.
Nowadays, I hear so many stories of how people met their spouses through online dating sites, blind dates or match making sites. It used to be so unusual to hear of people who met their spouses via letter or online. Now, it almost seems to be the norm. I’ve even heard of people who met and married via texting!
True.com is one of the sites where you can create a profile for the purpose of finding someone. I am still leery of these dating sites, but maybe there is something to them. After all, so many partnered people can’t be all wrong. Signing up is free, you don’t have any membership fees like other dating sites. You can check their website and search for free. See if the kind of people they attract are compatible to what you’re looking for. One of their major claims is that they screen for married people and felons. I thought it was amusing that they had a note on their website saying that married people and criminals will be prosecuted. LOL! I actually like that. At least they are trying to keep riff raffs out of the site. At least you won’t have to worry about someone being married or being a convict. Now all you have to worry about is picking someone who isn’t a jerk. Oh, and at least they have photos and webcams so you can be sure if they’re also good looking. 🙂
