I have been seeing this product in the stores for a while now. At first I didn’t know what it was or what it was for, my eyes were just drawn to it because of the attractive packaging. I have since learned that alli is a diet pill. It is supposed to help you lose weight without you having to do much to change your lifestyle. What it does is it prevents fats from being broken down and absorbed by your body therefore preventing you from depositing all that fat you just ate on your body. Sounds simple, right? Except that it is making your body do something that it was designed to do and when you start doing that, something is bound to go wrong.
I am of the thinking that you ought to figure out how some things work and let it do what it does best. Now if your body is designed to absorb everything you ingest, then maybe you shouldn’t ingest what you don’t want it to absorb. Sounds kind of simple to me. Doesn’t it to you?
Take me for instance. I love pork belly! I am one of the worst porker around and I love all the fatty gooey parts. I know if I eat enough pork belly I too will develop one. So as much as I would like to eat it everyday, I eat it only when my hankering is getting too unbearable. Should I take diet pills and eat what I want everyday? If some of or even one of the following side effects is the price I have to pay, then you can forget that!
Here are some of the known side effects:
Possible Side Effects
- • Flatulence
- • Oily anal discharge
- • Loose stools or diarrhe
- • More frequent bowel movements
- • Hard-to-control bowel movements
