As I said in my comment on the musings of the literary feline’s post on her book giveaway contest, it seems that I’m on a book giveaway trend today. I keep running across books being given away on various blogs, thus the various postings about them so far. I must have something to do that they all love books. You think?

Yeah, today, it seems is a day for announcing giveaways

You know its summer at our house when the power breaker keeps blowing because we have too many appliances in addition to air conditioners plugged in. Apparently there is also something like a circuit breaker for the car in that they too can blow. We have a couple of older cars and the air conditioning compressor has, at one time or another given out on them.
