The family computers have become quickly outdated and slow. The girls have completely abandoned their old PC as it has become useless, filled with endless amounts of files and computer games. Even my husband’s personal computer has become unbearably slow to my daughter, Jade. The girls constantly monopolize the laptop I bring home from work, leaving me limited time to post. Now, with constant use, the temporary files have to be cleared every few sessions or so. The problem we’ve found with the old desktop computers is that they lack the proper ram and memory that new computers have. We’ve resolved that it is most-likely cheaper to replace our desktops than to attempt repairing or upgrading them. We’ve upgraded and cleaned them multiple times in the past.
Yes, in this modern age we find ourselves constantly disposing of the “obsolete” with newer, shinier and faster replacements.
