What’s in a Blog Name?
A blog is a blog is a blog. True? Not really, there are many ways that differentiate one blog from another and one of those factors is the name. Have you ever wondered about a blogs name? If you have, then the blog’s owner just scored one point. Having a compelling name either makes it easier for your readers to remember and therefore find it again, or it could be so unique and different that it makes your readers think about your blog for more than the second it takes to click on to the next blog. Either way, you’ve captured someone’s interest just by the name of your blog alone.
Alan, at Zero and Up asked the Why? behind blog names and received a few interesting responses. I too was intrigued by the answers so I decided to continue asking the questions and turn the question into a meme.
So I ask, HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH YOUR BLOG’S NAME?

HiPnCooLMoMMa - it was not really that hard for me to come up with that name when I started blogging in 2004. At that time, even if I already had 2 kids I still found myself hip and cool. Hip in the sense that my clothing style did not really change much when I got married and started having kids. Now the cool part, I guess I’m not one conventional Momma. As much as possible, I try to connect with the kids, trying to be involved in every activity they are interested in. I try to be just like them, but at the same time I’m letting them feel that I am still their MoMMa.
