When a door closes, a window opens

In the hopes of making myself a better person, I have seen the advice, “know your worth” over and over again; while I think I know the basic premise of it, I have never really put it to practice. At least now whole heartedly anyway.

In business, there is something called Business valuation. That means knowing what your business is worth. Not just what it is worth now in physical terms, you also have to consider its worth intellectually and how much it could be worth in the future. That principle applies to individuals too.

I hear all the time how someone feels worthless. Well, no one is worthless. You could be penniless and down to the shirt on your back; but assess what you are truly worth and you will realize how rich your are.

Getting my blog on

I’ve been a little depressed since this blog’s PR got smacked to 0 after only a month of doing paid posts. But, howell, it was good while it lasted. It just sucks that right now I have no opps available to me (on PPP anyway). I am almost embarassed that last month when I had plenty opps, I posted almost a hundred times on this blog. Then since the smack down, I haven’t posted at all except the couple of days when I managed to snag a $5 opp. Sad, but true.

But you know what, I’ve decided to pick myself up and get going anyway, opps or no opps.

Sometimes it’s also good when you have some free time on your hands, you discover other things. This week, I re discovered Twitter. I’ve even placed the twitter badge on the sidebar so you can see what my followers and I are twittering about. Yes, I have followers, mwahahaha!!!!

Some people, I told Alan in the comment section on the previous post below, some people use twitter to promote their blogs. I haven’t figured out how to do that yet, but it’s coming to me, I know it.

I’ve been so bummed about not being able to make some money that I even neglected my other blogs, which is really wrong. So…. here’s my first attempt at hauling myself out of the mire and getting my blog on again. Don’t forget to visit my other blogs! There’s stuff about my kids, what I’m cooking, what I’m thinking, and what I’m tinkering with. Oh, and I’ll be reviving the garden too as soon as my husband can do some work on it. Take your pick :)
