My husband recently decided to move his website to it’s own host rather than sharing mine. Of course, as it always seems to be the case, something inevitably goes wrong when you move a perfectly working website from one host box to another. He stayed on with BlueHost which is what I use, just another account or ‘box’. So it should be as simple as taking some of the contents from one box and dropping them into the other, right? WRONG.
He’s been fiddling with his new host and website for days and it’s still not working as it did. Luckily, the support team at BlueHost have been very helpful and have been guiding him through the maze. He and I both know very little about hosting, and all the other details that go with it. I can get by on my blogs because I use WordPress and I hardly ever touch my BlueHost panel. But with my husband, our daughter designed his website from scratch. No WordPress there. That means he is at the mercy of our 14 year old daughter to check and make sure all his coding is correct. hehe! Scary.
