Found Not Lost

I don’t have them, thank goodness! But my husband just came home the other night complaining that he’s got a few veins that have popped up on his calves. My sister and sister-in-law both have severe varicose veins problems ever since they had their kids. They have both talked about having surgery because not only are they unsightly, apparently they can also cause quite a bit of pain.

The term baby mall just tinkles me pink. Or blue. However you want to look at it.

My girls are no longer babies (sigh), but the great thing about babies is, someone is always having them! The Baby Mall Online has the most adorable newborn baby clothes that would be just perfect for a friend, a sister, or anyone you know who is expecting. You can find anything for babies on this site from clothes, blankets, toys and accessories, they have it. The great thing is, they are all reasonably priced! I love a great bargain! So it’s the big love fest today. Everyone is hoping for candies or flowers; some may be even hoping for something sparkly and expensive. Me, I don’t mean to be buh humbuggish about it, but I don’t really buy into Valentines Day. It’s another holiday concocted for pure commercialism. But don’t let me ruin your day.

As my throughly corrupted and naturally sarcastic ten year old would say, “it’s over rated”. She goes on to explain that, “if you love someone really, you should love them all year long, everyday, not just on one day”. Well put, don’t you think?

I think I’ll still get something chocolatey and sweet for dessert tonight though. Valentine’s Day is always a good excuse to indulge
