Keep them out

If you ever have a need to secure an area and rope it off from cars and traffic, you can find solutions at Traffic Guard Direct. Businesses on occasion need to secure areas in a parking lot for what ever reason. One way you can control access is by using security bollards. These bollards are removable posts that have a flush mount so that you don’t have unsightly and dangerous protrusions when they are removed.

Sometimes when you have events where you want to control traffic or reserve an area, like for neighborhood parties, festivals or sports events, these guards are the perfect solution. Much better and safer than ropes or flags.

Dry Rub for Ribs

PhotobucketThe weather will be warm enough to pull out the grills before you know it. If you love cooking on the grill as much as we do, you’d love these ribs. This version is seasoned with a dry rub which will give you luciously tender and delicious ribs whether you decide to roast them on the oven or the grill.

The girls loved them so much, I can’t believe we finished off these two racks of ribs in one sitting! Your family will love you for it if you put these on the table.

Designer Fabrics

Although I love having a clean and nicely furnished home, I am not the designer in the family. My husband is the artist. When people come to our house and compliment the decor, I have to concede the credit to him.

That’s why I know he would love Design Diva Fabrics. They sell the most luxurious fabrics from all over the world at discounted prices. They have quality woven designer upholstery fabric suitable for any interior design project. They guarantee that all their fabrics are a 100% authentic and will accomodate a refund to any customer not satisfied with the quality. You can place your order online or if you prefer, they also take your order by phone. This site is a valuable resource for any designer.

On discipline

PhotobucketFound this photo on the web. This little boy is standing in front of his school holding up this sign that says: “I was rude to my teacher. I can’t come to school. I’m sorry.”

Want to know what the story is? It is all about tough love. Read about it from my other blog, amoores.com.

Scholarships

I tell my girls all the time that they have to work hard and do well in school so they can get scholarships and they can afford to go to college. We aren’t rich and we wouldn’t be able to afford to send them to college just from what we make. They have already signed up on a couple sites that specialize in helping students scholarship, grants and loans to pay for their education.

Scholarship.com is another site that they wil be signing up on. Everyone says there is money out there for deserving students; the only problem is finding them all. Sites like scholarship.com will help them not only with scholarship search, they will also help them to complete the required applications in a timely manner (before the deadlines), match their academics and talent with the right scholarship source, and even help them create custom scholarship applications and request letters. Their database is constantly growing and updated with the latest sources for scholarships thus offering a comprehensive list of available scholarships for your student.
