Enrich Yourself

When you commit to yourself, you can enrich not only your pocket but also your life; and when you do you may just be fortunate enough to enrich someone elses life. That’s how it goes sometimes. When you stay positive and keep doing the right thing, the ball eventually starts rolling and before you know it, it grows its own momentum and it’s hard to stop.

The “getting rolling” is the hard part. That’s what I’m trying to do in my new blog. I’m trying to get my life’s ball rolling. Want to come out and play?

Love is in the Air

Yep, the smell of chocolates and flowers is definitely in the air again. Thank goodness for the internet, I think many procrastinators have been saved against the angst of running around on Valentines Day looking for a last minute gift. If you are thinking of giving valentines day flowers, there is always 1800Flowers.com at your fingertips (yes, your fingers can still do the walking ;-)). They have a huge selection of flower arrangements ranging from the first date variety to the old married couple style. Want to play it subtle with a single flower or be outladishly extravagant with a thousand? They have all of those including gift baskets and candies if flowers aren’t enough. Having brain freeze on what to get your Valentine? They also have a great section on giving you ideas on what to give.

Where to store your photos

Photobucket

Most new bloggers always want to know, how do I put pictures in my blog? Having a picture in your blog posts just makes it more interesting. It breaks up all the text and provides a good balance.

You do have to be carefull though, the threshold of having too many pictures on your blogs exists and you have to find a balance so you don’t clutter up your site or make it load too slowly.

The first step in putting up photos in your blog is to save them somewhere online. I tested three sites that will host your photos for FREE; see if any of them will work for you too.
