Twilight by Stephenie Meyers

“When Life offers you a dream so far beyond any of your expectations, it’s not reasonable to grieve when it comes to an end”

So the book starts. I finally got to read this first book of the trilogy after waiting in line behind my daughter’s friends who have been passing this book around all summer long. I finally got my hands on it after threatening them that they can’t come hang out at our house anymore unless they bring me this book :D LOL! I’m just finding out how big an incentive having snacks aplenty when your kids’ friends come around.

I came home on Friday to find the book on my bed. Halleluiah!! Thankfully, we had enough left overs that I didn’t need to cook dinner. So I got out of my work clothes, got comfy and got started reading. I love books that can hook you from the first page. This is one of them. I read through it within 24-hours and was panting for more. I wanted that second book ASAP! But of course, one of Asi’s friend still has New Moon and I have to wait until at least Monday afternoon for the installment. Asi has the third book, Eclipse, she’s reading it right now. I am so tempted to jump to it, but no, I won’t do it. Besides, she’ll probably elbow me out of the way if I tried to get the book from her. LOL!
