Summer Reading

Well, it’s vacation time again. The girls are on break from school, so that means summer reading lists. It also means they have more time to hog the two computers in the house and the three tvs. So if I don’t want to watch someone play games on the computer or watch cartoons on tv then I suppose I better pick out a book and start reading. Well, what’s on our book shelf? Why their juvenile fiction of course! The final installment of Harry Potter will be coming out soon, but in the meantime I have their other books to choose from.

I actually enjoy reading their books (I am genuinely interested and entertained) and discussing the books with them after we read it. It makes for pretty good conversations and it gives me a peek into the convoluted thinkings of teen age girls.

These are two books that I just finished, courtesy of Asi and her friends.
